Savoy is well located in uptown. Right off the highway close to south end, uptown, filth, Noda and plaza midwood. You can’t beat a great location like this, still providing peace and quiet and a great nightlife.

I have recently relocated to Charlotte from The Big Apple! and my experience with the Savoy management team has been exceptional. It has been a great experience since viewing the apartment with Shay and through the moving in process. Everybody has been awesome in making me feel welcome and part of the community. The building has good amenities and located close to parks and stores. Special shout out to Courtney for assisting me with documents needed. I would highly recommend The Savoy for anyone considering to move in here.

I enjoy living here. However, the guest parking has caused issues. Getting a limited amount of monthly guest parking is stressful enough, but my boyfriend has gotten wrongfully booted twice after filling in the parking form, with no grace or forgiveness on the matter.

I've had the pleasure of living in this community for the past seven months, and I have to commend Shaderra in the leasing office for her exceptional service. Every time l stop by with a question or need assistance, she is always so welcoming and willing to help. We have the 1 bedroom that doesn’t have windows. The room gets very dark; which makes sleeping so much better. The location is good; easy walk to Whole Foods and DOWD YMCA.

The property is nice except for the horrible smell of animal waste near the elevator hall area. It would be better if pet owners did not allow their animals to go on the carpet. There is a dog park available so they should use it.

Not a very Family friendly community/environment. Very loud and messy construction that we were never notified about to better prepare. Pets have accidents in common areas daily and hall ways often smell like alcohol and smoke (cigarette and weed).

I have loved living at Savoy for the past three years. The building is always so clean and well kept. The leasing office and maintenance team is very prompt with responding and handling concerns. There are plenty of community activities and wonderfully maintained common areas to meet other residents. This has been the perfect location and environment for me and I cannot recommend it enough.

Rent pricing doesnt make much sense. On availabile units sometimes it seems reasonably priced and sometimes it shoots up by hundreds. Majority of the time is overpriced

Savoy is in a wonderful area of Charlotte. Perfectly between multiple different areas and a quick drive to all others. The amenities here at Savoy are unlike most other complexes nearby. The gym can be a tiny bit crowded during busy hours but has very nice equipment. The pool is beautiful with a resort-style feel. In our first apartment, we never had issues with maintenance/things going wrong. So far I cannot say the same but sure they are trying.

I’ve lived here for four years and it’s really started to go downhill. Lately the place is falling apart (parking garage gate always broken, sign hanging by a literal hook about to fall on someone over the entrance, elevator always down). Plus, residents have gotten more disrespectful throwing random garbage on the curb or in the garage, not picking up dog poop in the park. The construction that was suppose to be done fall 2021…It’s not the same as when I moved here in 2020.

I moved in in 2018 and its time to go. I lived on the second floor and residents above would sweep dog poop, broken glass, cigs onto my balcony with nothing done about it. Uber eats orders would get stolen from outside your door within 5 minutes. They advertised a concierge when I moved in; which no longer exists. Gym equipment gets broken and never replaced or takes forever to fix like the bikes. Also, residents leave dog poop everywhere outside.

I recently moved to Charlotte and worked with Courtney Sanderson from the Leasing Office. Courtney was extremely professional, friendly, proactive, communicative, and committed to ensuring that I had the best moving experience possible. Truthfully, I have not worked with someone as professional as Courtney in a very long time. Courtney constantly followed up via telephone to inform me of my apartment dimensions, pricing, leasing terms, amenities, and the application process. I wanted to note that I was in a serious bind to secure an apartment and move in by January 2nd, which is the day after New Years. Courtney worked tirelessly to ensure that my application was processed and my lease was ready to sign by January 2nd for a move in that day. This is a great place to live. The only things I would say is that it is difficult finding package deliveries, sometimes they are in the mail room, your mailbox, locker hub, and you never know where to look. Also when i submit service requests i never feel like the problem is fully resolved.

The electrical issues and frequent fire alarms made it a very unpleasant experience. The unit itself was overall nice. However, it would have been nice for staff to go over and beyond to get to the root of the issue. Resetting a breaker 2-3 times a day was quite concerning.

The building is always clean on the week days and the cleaning staff and maintenance is the best an apartment can have!!! However, over the past few years of living here, there seem to be more problems. Elevators are always down, the garage doors never work, parking is IMPOSSIBLE after 9pm, even if a free spot is promised to all residents. Also, dog owners never clean up after their dogs in the side dog parks.

I was the first resident to move in when it opened and it's sad to see Savoy like it is now. Their decision to use short term rentals in the building has hurt any sense of community and let in these short term renters that treat the complex horribly. There is now theft as I have multiple food deliveries stolen from my door within minutes as well. I'd look else where.

I feel like the overall quality of Savoy has gone down hill as time passes, and rent has gone up exponentially. Things are constantly broken or breaking, take a long time to fix, and it constantly smells like dog pee in the hallways and stairs. On the positive side the front desk and maintenance people are always very friendly and willing to help. My decision to renew will come down to rent price and if the problems continue to persist.

Overall has been a great first apartment for my move to Charlotte. Maintenance has been the most professional/friendly/punctual and most of the leasing staff has been kind and accommodating to any requests I have had. While some amenity spaces took some time to open/be fixed, they are great amenities and enjoyable spaces to hang out in! Lack of/restricted visitor parking has been the only/smallest issue I have had with the property.

Lately the damages around the building coupled with slow (if any) repairs has been very problematic. The dog park was out of commission for weeks, only for a soft temporary fence to be put in. If the fence wasn’t being repaired, the temp. fence should have been installed long ago! Similarly, the garage gates being broken provides a huge security concern. The pool is closed, elevators are destroyed (pee, puke, garbage) on the weekend by careless residents, dog parks are filled with dog poop not being cleaned… Not the best lately!

Maintenance team is great.The hallways Were always smell like pet urine in spite of the the janitorial staffs attempt to clean. Fees are unfairly charged without notification. I was charged a $15 fee for lack of renters insurance although I provided proof that I have had and maintained insurance without any lapses since becoming a resident. Once brought up, I was told it was because I had landlord address wrong buy I was using the information that was give to me when I signed my lease. I was told corporate changes things often and that the office staff can't always manage to notify all tenant of the change. When I asked for a a refund I was told no and if I took issue with their handling of the situation to contact corporate. The staff never took the lead in offering resolution or options to fairly resolve the issue. It seems the staff is only interested in providing good service to newcomers and if you are an resident you just be given the # to corporate, whom btw will never respond

Complex is becoming rundown. The gym facility carpets are stained and have not been shampooed since opening. Equipment is covered in dust and not cleaned. The walls are dirty/black and have never been painted. The parking garage door has been broken for a month with one way in and out. It's open 24/7 and not secure. The fence to the dog park has been missing for several months. The alarm system for smoking inside individual units is not work and residents smoke inside their apartments (marijuana smell is very strong).

People aren't picking up after their dogs. And the hallway carpets always smells like urine, even when after the cleaning attempts to shampoo it. The elevators frequently are riddled with dog feces and urine as well.

Great apartment overall. Lovely ammentites but is a little loud but of course, that is to expect as we are location in such a popular area of uptown charlotte! Love living here.

Everyone has been super welcoming and helpful at the Savoy apartments in Charlotte. I moved in with a roommate, and our apartment is incredibly nice. Plus, there's a lot of dogs around which adds to a very friendly and inclusive environment

Love it! we renewed for another year. It can’t get any better uptown. We both work and ride the rails and love walking to TJs or WFs on our weekends. And the grill set up is choice!

I haven’t had the best experience here, so definitely renter beware. I have really enjoyed living here until the last week, first a dealt with a noise complaint issue with neighbors , I have a young puppy and have communicated with the office about this and they told me I now need to have my apartment inspected because of this issue. I have an issue with this because I’ve complained about my above neighbor for months and nothing was ever done about it, so it feels very discriminatory that clearly everyone isn’t treated the same as my issue still isn’t revolved 5 months later. My second issue is I turned my lease renewal in way before rent was due and now I have a “ month to month “ credit applied because the office did not do the proper paper work in time. Why is that the residents fault? Extremely unprofessional.

Savoy is a great place to live! The location is close to South End and Uptown, with proximity to the highway to get out of Charlotte if needed. The maintenance staff is perhaps the best part of living in Savoy. They are friendly, prompt, and helpful. Any request I’ve ever put in is taken care of within the day. Four stars because the price is starting to get too high.

Great location! Very walkable to many of the best spots that Charlotte has to offer . Very helpful and friendly staff. Always able to find a parking spot and the amenities are second to none. Very very pet friendly as well!

Savoy had been a great place to live!! The amenities are great and the location to the rest of Charlotte is supreme. The addition of a brewery and coffee shop downstairs has also been an added bonus.

Great community. Love the location! Everything I need right in one area. My apartment is spacious for a 1 bedroom. Lots of cabinets and storage. Even have a nice size laundry room. My view can be better tho.

Podcasting studio, gym, and pool are great amenities. Guest parking in difficult and sometimes not available. Construction has been going on out front for months.

Savoy is great! Amazing amenities and conveniently located downtown near everything. The community is very clean and well kept. All of our wonderful staff managers and maintenance are helpful and kind. Parking for guests can be difficult unless the office is open to give you a guest parking pass. Otherwise no complaints here!

Only reason to live here is for the location. Its bare minimum around here but thats not necessarily good or bad. Just neutral. A convenient place to live as long as youre okay with the 24/7 highway white noise

I’ve been living here for almost a year and it’s an absolutely great place to live. Very quiet and peaceful. Facilities are top notch. The gym runs out of wipes every once in a while but that’s the only complaint.

I moved into Savoy Charlotte 3 days ago. I am impressed with the cleanliness, the professionalism of the staff, particularly Miranda, it is very safe & quiet! As an interior designer I wanted a property that has high ceilings & tall windows with a view of uptown. The SAVOY ticked those boxes for me. The entire staff continued to be helpful even AFTER I moved in. That says a lot.

The leasing office is consistently unreliable and unhelpful with most community issues. Several times issues have been brought up with no concern. While other issues take priority for no real reason given.

The first year here was fantastic. The maintenance team and amenities are awesome. Unfortunately the way the community staff and management handled the recent shooting and communication during/after was unacceptable. I would love to see better security measures and for more clear and upfront communication regarding safety issues that clearly exist. I would also recommend management to clean / power wash the exterior of the building. The balcony's’ patio and balcony walls are very dirty as well as windows on each unit. Seems like every other complex does this annually not sure why it’s not done here.

Community events and fitness classes offered are a huge plus. Excited to try Saturday morning yoga. We enjoy the sun deck and pool every Sunday along with grilling out. I’m happy we live in an access controlled building.

Love it. Live in the sanctuary area. It’s so peaceful. I sit on my Porsche every day and reflect. Love the bedroom. I woke late so I’m able to sleep a little longer. My living room as much light in it. Really enjoying the island. I get coffee every morning and beer every Saturday. I’ve been at the pool and grill more than I ever thought. It’s easy to relax here.

I love my home and the community is always well kept!! We did quickly outgrow the closet size though. Also the lower parking garage needs wider spaces. The spots are so tight down there multiple people have had issues/accidents.

When my friends come to visit they are always blown away at how beautiful it is and how great the location is.
